Trend: Formal Dresses

Hola bombones!

El 2015 ya esta casi aquí, como ha pasado de rápido este? Para mi volando, de verdad, parece que fue ayer cuando estaba preparando los posts de tendencias de inicio del 2014 y ahora ya toca uno del nuevo año. Porque esta bien saber que se lleva y que no, verdad? Después ya cada uno decide si lo sigue a rajatabla, si lo adapta a su propio estilo o si hace oídos sordos.

Sabéis de mi devoción por los vestidos largos, creo que tenemos pocas ocasiones para llevarlos pero porque preferimos no arriesgarnos y es una prenda que llevada con acierto es un as para el cuerpo femenino.

2015 is almost here, how fast has this year go for you? For mi it was so quickly, it seems to be yesterday when I was preparing the first post of trends, at the beginning of 2014, and now it's time to talk about new year's trends! It's an absolut true; tempus fugit!

You know that I'm a big fan of formal dresses, I think that sadly we wear them not too much and that's because we prefer to not take the risk and dress always sure and comfy, but when you wear reckless and betting for the different, sure you win a lot!

Empecemos con vestidos sencillos pero elegantes, sin llegar a ser regargados. Los escotes asimétricos parece que van a dar fuerte y quedan sexys sin ser horteras. La forma griega con la tela drapeada la podemos ver en muchos diseños y creo que queda muy favorecedora. En cuanto a colores, el abanico va desde tonos más sobrios como el berenjena hasta un rojo pasión super femenino.

Let's start with simples but elegants dresses, of course without being overdones. This season we could see one-sided neckline, sexy but formal, we don't want to be gaudy. Ancient Greece is present in the shape with draped fabric which is really wonderful in woman figure. If we talk about colors, spectrum goes from sober shade like dark purple one, until a passional red, the perfect woman dress!

 También podemos ver escotes en palabra de honor, perfecto para potenciar el pecho y destacar la zona del cuello. El gris y blanco de abajo es precioso y perfecto para una velada que empiece por la tarde y se alargue hasta más entrada la noche. Dependiendo de los complementos puedes hacerlo más o menos formal, con el peinado sucede lo mismo, un recogido hará el look más elegante y la melena suelta será más desenfadado.

We also may see strapless dress, perfect to make our breast more attractive and stand out the neckline. This one grey and white long dress is nice and perfect for an event which starts in the afternoon and keep going until the night comes down. Depending on the accessories you could create an outfit more or less formal, it's the same story for the hairstyle. An updo would make our look more elegant and a free mane make everything more carefree.

Si queremos ir un paso más allá en nuestro look, esta temporada apostaría por las espaldas abiertas. Ya el año pasado se empezaba a ver en todo tipo de prendas y ahora parece que vuelven a los vestidos de gala. Creo que quedan super femeninos y muy insinuadores. Como siempre hay para todos los gustos, el de arriba tiene la apertura más grande, dejando ver un poco más la forma de la espalda, el segundo tiene la espalda más cerrada y sujeta, por lo que será más cómodo.

If we wanna go further with our look, this season I would bet for open backs. Last year we already may see this kind of backs in all kind of casual cloth, and now it seems that this style jumps in the formal dresses. For me this trend is girly and insinuating. As always we can find this trend in a lot of different dresses, for every preference you could have. The first one has a big open back, sexier and perfect for an special night. The one below has the open more little, more tight and, of course, more comfy.

Como último apunte y aunque no es una tendencia nueva, deciros que seguiremos viendo encaje, en pequeñas cantidades pero estará presente. Me parece un detalle para darle ese toque especial que todas buscamos en nuestros vestidos.

As a final note and although it's not a new trend, I don't wanna end the post without talking about the lace, it would be in this year dresses. I like lace in little details because it makes our dresses more special, that different touch we look for in our outfits.

Prom Dresses

Hola bellezas!!

Siguiendo con la sección navideña que empezamos hace unas semanas hoy os traigo un post con más vestidos. Hay que ver lo mucho que me gustan los vestidos, y es que aunque pienso que para la celebración que sea un vestido siempre va a ser mi primera opción, los trajes con pantalón o los conjuntos con falda también quedan genial pero que queréis que os diga, soy una mujer de vestidos.

Si pudiera elegir y luego sentirme cómoda iría para estos eventos especiales con vestidos larguísimos y muy vaporosos, pero no puede ser porque además de que los vestidos largos de gala son para ocasiones muy concretas y yo no me sentiría a gusto del todo. Una lástima, porque de princesa estoy divina... jajaja

El problema suele ser que al buscar vestidos especiales siempre suelen irse de precio y ahora mismo no estamos para derrochar verdad? Porque muchos de estos vestidos los usamos solo un par de veces, cuando no una única vez, así que amortizarlos es algo complicado. Let's keep going with the special Christmas edition we've started few weeks ago, now it's turn of another dresses post. It's true, I have a big problem with dresses, because for special ocassions I always go with a dress, a suit or a skirt outfit is also a great choice but, don't know the reason why, I will always be a woman of dresses.

If I could choose and then be comfy with my choice I'll go to these special events with long and vaporous dress, but it cannot be because long prom dresses are reserved for really special dates and  I'm not sure if I would feel comfy. It's a shame because I'm the perfect princess.. hahaha

But when you need a prom dress for a special event, like a wedding, or a gala dinner we may found that they cost too much and now it's not the time to waste money. Moreover when those dresses we barely use a couple of times, if not we only give them just one use. Los vestidos largos en colores oscuros siempre me han parecido muy elegantes. Aquí os presento tres opciones; dos en azul klein y otra en lila, uno de los colores de esta nueva temporada. Los tres me gustan, de hecho tengo una boda este año y me están llamando mucho.

Lond dark dresses are so elegant, I think they have a special sober touch that make us feel perfect for the event we have. I've chosen two in a beautfiul dark blue, strapless or more demure, and another in purple with an ancient greece shape, one of the main colors in this new season.

Aunque tengo mucha ropa de diario en gris, nunca he tenido vestidos formales en este color y creo que es un color que puede quedar precioso y darle todo el protagonismo a nuestro maquillaje, complementos y peinado. El largo me parece precioso!

I have a lot of daily clothes in grey however I've never used a formal clothes in this color, and I think that's a great option because it gives all of the leadership to our makeup, our accessories and our hairstyle. The long grey one is amazing!

En colores pastel los vestidos adoptan un aire más dulce y de princesa, como sabéis me encantan. Aunque es más difícil encontrar una ocasión en la que poder llevarlos porque no todas las novias aceptan que sus invitadas vayan de colores claros y las eclipsen verdad? 

Dresses with pastel colors are sweeter and more a princess like, and you know how I love it. Even if it's harder to find the perfect timing to wear them because more of the brides don't want  their guests wearing soft colors and outshines their specials days, right? The green one is really beautiful and different, love it!

Si no os gustan los vestidos largos o no tenéis ocasiones para llevarlos, os dejo estas dos propuestas, sobrias y sencillas que creo que se pueden adaptar bien a cualquier evento que tengamos este año. Dependiendo de las joyas y el peinado que añadamos conseguiremos un look más o menos formal.

If you don't like long dresses or you don't have any occassion to wear them, there's two proposals of chic short dresses, sobers and simples. which I'm sure you can wear for every kind of event you may have this next year. Depending on the jewels and the hairstyle you carry you can get a more or less formal outfit.
